social media & Photographer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our media team is responsible for capturing content that represents the organization. As a media member you will be working closely with our leadership and members to capture images of our ensemble throughout our season that will be represented on our social media platforms. 

Our rehearsals occur Friday evenings, all day Saturdays, and most of the day Sundays in Fort Worth, TX. Attendance is not required at all rehearsals but it is expected at all performances, and WGI Finals in Dayton, OH. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capture still images of our members and staff at rehearsals and performances. 

  • Collaborate with leadership on media initiatives. 

  • Create, edit, and brainstorm content for all media platforms. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a photographer preferably in the marching arts. 

  • Must have all necessary equipment

  • Motivated and excited to create unique content

  • Highly organized, attention to detail, and flexible. 

  • Experience in Graphic Design to promote upcoming events and initiatives

  • Great communication skills, open to feedback, able to collaborate. 

BONUS

  • Previous WGI/DCI Videography experience

  • Previous percussion experience

OTHER INFO

  • Candidate is responsible for transportation and housing for rehearsals and local shows

  • Candidate will be required to clear a background check for the position. 

  • Candidate will be required to take SafeSport Certification Training.

Videographer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Involvement of pre-production, shooting, editing, as well as aspects of coordinating, planning and executing video footage. 

  • Distribute content on multiple platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc. 

  • Collaborate with other media team members and leadership to continue building out the ViP Brand. 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or any similar video editing software

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

  • Working knowledge of Video Camera Operation

  • Ownership of high quality video production equipment an microphones

  • Ability to think on the fly, plan and meet deadlines, and willing to receive feedback in a positive manor. 

BONUS
